Chris grew up in Lapeer, MI, raised by a single mother who worked tirelessly to support her family. Watching her dedication instilled in him a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed. His first job in a local restaurant taught him responsibility, but it was a chance opportunity with a roofing contractor that sparked his passion for home improvement.

Starting as a laborer, Chris worked his way up, learning every aspect of the trade. Over time, he saw firsthand how many families struggled to afford essential home repairs. This inspired him to create Hect Home Improvement—a company dedicated to delivering reliable, high-quality services at fair prices.
